Very Good
Date: November 2, 2009
The Model Subwoofer does a wonderful job of filling out the bass of Tivoli's table radios. It works with the Model Two, Model Three, Model Satellite, and the new NetWorks. You get nearly an octave at the bottom, resulting in a fuller, warmer sound without boominess. Setup is very easy; just plug it in and adjust the volume. It's automatically turned on and off by the controlling radio.

Model Subwoofer
Date: October 28, 2009
I have a Model Subwoofer with the Model Two table radio. Honestly, I find the subwoofer to not really be necessary. The sound quality of the Model Two is quite good on its own.
The subwoofer certainly doesn't do any harm. As with all the Tivoli products I've used, the sound performance is just about right. But it's a subtle change from the already good Model Two.
As an added note, my subwoofer's standby feature stopped working unless I keep the level at the maximum. I therefore generally leave the sub off unless I have a particular desire for the little bit extra, and then I turn it on manually. Most of the time I don't miss it if it's not on.

Very Pleased
Date: October 23, 2009
I received this as a gift 3 years ago to complement the Model Two (also reviewed). It does a great job: nice, tight bass fits right into the music. I appreciate the auto-standby, although the indicator could be a little dimmer.

Best sub I've ever owned, hands down. Works great, day after day. Never had any problems. The auto on/off feature is clutch! Definitely worth the money.

I added this to my Model two system in my home office. I have the whole thing on for hours on end and the subwoofer really completes the whole system .i think you get good sound for not much money. I never get ear fatigue from using it.

Great addition

This sub works well with my tivoli radio, the bass is not over-powering, its just right. Also, the design seamlessly blends with my satellite radio. Just the right size to fill your room with great sound.

Over the top!
Date: October 14, 2009
Frankly, I thought I was getting to be rather silly adding a subwoofer to my Model Three clock radio, but man oh man does it sound fantastic. The upward firing speakers of the Model Three never seemed quite as warm as my Model One, but this subwoofer has a huge impact. Don't expect thump, just a rich, gentle fill.

I Recommend this with any Radio purchase
Date: October 13, 2009
I purchased this with my model two. I was a little hesitant about it because I am not one that really goes for BoomBoomBoom type bass.
I fears were unfounded because this subwoofer provides just the right amount of bottom end to round out the sound.
