A treat for the senses

When one acquires a work of art, one wants to display it prominently. The Tivoli Platinum Series Model One Radio in piano black lacquer deserves a place alongside all things beautiful. Classically designed, the radio is a treat for the senses, from its exquisitely designed case to the perfectly-weighted feel of the tuner knob in one's palm. The glorious sound that emanates from the bright silver speaker draws all of its elements together to enchant the listener. Form and function have reached a harmonious balance in the Tivoli Platinum Series Model One. It speaks of power, perfection, and, most of all, pride.

My second Model One

I purchased my first Model One at a popular national retailer a few years back. Long story short, I like it so much I bought another one so I could have one in the home office and another in the family room/kitchen area. This time I splurged on the piano black/silver finish; it looks and sounds great.

Simply awesome

I received the Piano Black edition for Christmas a few years ago and have been simply blown away every time I turn it on. It's in our kitchen and is on every morning as I get the kids ready for school and every evening when we eat dinner at home. It's simply amazing after all this time the sound quality is still second to none and it really impresses people with the richness of sound that comes out of a stylish countertop radio. I recommend the Tivoli all the time and am looking to add an iPod dock to it soon to experience digital sound through it.

I purchased this for my Dad and he loves it! It is small and does not get in the way of his other items in his office. It blends in with his antiques and sounds fantastic. I ended up purchasing a portable Tivoli for my kitchen because of the quality.
